2026 ENGINEERING STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS

PUBLIC NOTICE The Village of West Lafayette Ohio intends to contract for engineering, surveying and construction services in connection with the Village’s sidewalk, street, park, storm sewer, and sewer improvements.
Engineering firms interested in being considered for a contract should provide the required services and should reply with a statement of qualifications no later than May14,2026, by 4:00 p.m. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history, education and experience of owners and key technical personnel, the technical expertise of the firm's current staff, the firm's experience in designing similar projects within the last five years, availability of staff, the firm's equipment and facilities, references, the firm's proximity to the Village of West Lafayette any experience and work history with the Village, however not required, and must be ODOT pre-qualified. The projects will vary and could include the preparation of preliminary and final design, certified estimates, construction plans and specifications, bidding and contract preparation and construction phase engineering services including resident project representative for the referenced project. Assistance with grants or other funding applications will be required. The Village will submit the funding applications and manage the funding throughout the project. The funding obtained will be through various sources, such as, CDBG – NRG, ODOT Tap, ODOT Safe Routes, EDA, Congressional and Federal Programs, ODNR, Ohio EPA, ARC, and OPWC. Statements of qualifications shall be transmitted to: Village Administrator, Tammy Hicks-Lindig, Village of West Lafayette, P.O. Box 175, 113 East Railroad Street, West Lafayette, Ohio 43845. As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the Village of West Lafayette will enter contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm for one (1) year, with the possibility of extending it another two (2) years and thereafter.
